Scope

These Terms & Conditions (“T&C”) apply to all participants—children and adults—enrolling in any classes, courses, short-term supervised play sessions, trial lessons, passes, events, or packages offered by The Language Playground (“the Center”). They apply regardless of whether bookings are made online or in person.

By completing a booking or making a payment, participants and/or their guardians agree to:

• Studio Rules

• Privacy Policy

• Liability Waiver (signed prior to participation)

 

Participants

• Children: Ages 1–9 years. Children under 3 must be accompanied by a guardian.

• Adults: Adults may enroll in adult language classes. Optional short-term supervised play is available for accompanying children in a separate studio room.

Short-Term Supervised Play

Children are supervised by a facilitator at all times. Guardians must remain reachable by phone.

 

Passes, Courses, and Booking Rules

• Single Entry – valid 1 month

• 4 Entries – valid 1 month

• 8 Entries – valid 1 month

• 12 Entries – valid 3 months

• Trial Lesson – becomes free if a package is purchased within 24 hours after the trial (the fee is credited)

 

Trial Lesson Policy

• Trial lesson is paid upfront.

• If a 4, 8, or 12-entry package is purchased within 24 hours, the participant receives a discount code equal to the trial class fee. 

• The code is valid 24 hours and non-transferable.

 

Cancellations & Rescheduling (Children Classes)

• Registration is non-refundable.

• Unlimited rescheduling within validity period with ≥24h notice.

• After this time: non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.

 

Adult Language Courses (3-Month Duration)

• Non-refundable.

• Cannot be rescheduled.

• No make-up classes.

 

Cancellations & Rescheduling (Events)

Registration is non-refundable.

Registration cannot be rescheduled or transferred. 

 

Bookings

Bookings may be made online or in person. Booking is confirmed only after payment.

 

Payments

Payments are processed via Wix payment gateway. The Center does not store card information. Payment = acceptance of these T&C.

 

Health & Safety

Guardians must inform the Center of allergies, medical conditions, or special needs. The Center may decline participation if safety cannot be ensured. Guardians must remain reachable.

 

Liability

The Center, staff, and facilitators are not liable for injury, damage, or accidents except where required by law. Guardians are responsible for their child’s behavior. Liability Waiver must be signed prior to participation.

 

Classroom Rules

Participants and guardians must comply with posted Classroom Rules.

 

Refund & Rescheduling Summary

• Single Entry: Non-refundable | Reschedule a class ≥24h  

• 4-Entry Pass: Non-refundable | Reschedule a class ≥24h  

• 8-Entry Pass: Non-refundable | Reschedule a class ≥24h  

• 12-Entry Pass: Non-refundable | Reschedule a class ≥24h  

• Trial Lesson: Non-refundable | Reschedule a class ≥24h | credited towards a package if continuing  

• Adult 3-Month Course: Non-refundable | No rescheduling or make-up classes  

• Short-Term Supervised Play: Deposit refund ≥12h | Reschedule ≥12h

 

Agreement

Registration confirms acceptance of these T&C.

 

Governing Law

These T&C follow Czech law and EU consumer regulations.
