Big Feelings, Little People

Join us for a special parent-child workshop with Kristyna, founder of The Little Wellbeing, and explore the world of big emotions together! Through playful activities and practical strategies, children and parents will learn how to recognize, understand and manage emotions, leaving with simple tools to support emotional wellbeing in everyday life.

We'll open with a story-based adventure through movement and breath work, settling little bodies and minds into the space. While parents explore the theory behind toddler mindfulness and co-regulation, little ones engage in sensory play with The Language Playground - a form of self-regulation, helping them settle and explore their senses.

From there, we'll explore emotions together through colour and play, matching feelings to simple, calming tools everyone can use at home.

This is a relaxed, judgment-free space where parents walk away with real strategies for recognizing and managing big emotions with their child. Resources will be provided throughout the workshop and families will bring home a toolkit ready to be used at home.

Kristyna is an educator with a background in mental health, educational policy, and children's wellbeing, focused on socio-emotional regulation and building the everyday tools that help children (and the grown-ups supporting them) understand what they're feeling.
